Filming, Warehouse Fashion, And General Exhaustion!

On saturday we filmed the pickups for a film called Skin Traffik. A jaded hit man regains his humanity in this dark tale of redemption and sacrifice, set amidst a brutal underworld in which daily survival is not so much a skill but an instinct.  Starring Mickey Rourke and Eric Roberts. I cannot reveal much yet but my goodness what a great time we had.

The pickups being were being filmed by Andrew Dymond, of Lightworx (Director of my favourite scifi series Starhyke) and Neil Richards, of The Digital Film Company. Having worked with both before i know how the shoots work, and they are both lovely yet slightly mad, hence why we get along so well! The other actors were a blast, and it was a day of giggles and fun even though it was a very sensitive subject, in desperate need of highlighting.

I have to say watch this space closely. I will post more of a blog as and when I have the ability to.

For now I will Just have to tell you about my Sunday!

Sunday I actually got the oppurtunity to take some pictures, as many know i am a photographer by trade, but these days its very rare i get my camera out for fun. I joined a group shoot run by Jallen Fashion Designer at the lovely Upper Mills Studio. Firstly Jordan is very talented and hopefully you will be seeing his fashion on the shelves soon. Secondly he is great at organising such a fun day! Really though pictures paint a thousand words i will leave you some images to enjoy

Most Fattening Shoot EVER!!!

Definately a interesting shoot, but I think Neil has the award for the most fattening shoot ever, The amount of sweets i ate (for art purposes) Unbelieveable!!!!

I think after that shoot i shouldnt eat sweets for at least a year!!!

Neil is a great but quiet guy! I really look forward to the images, i will update when i see more for now here is a silly out take ;)

First shoot in a long while.

Well today I had a fabulous shoot with the fantastic Glenn. I havent shot with anyone in a few years so I wanted to work with someone I knew. We had such fantastic fun, from the coffee we started with to the actual shoot.

Firstly we began with some headshots, which Glenn is Amazing at taking. I am always amazed at what Glenn takes. Even with someone notrious for silly faces :)

 

Then after another coffee break we shot some fantastic fashion.

 

And even a little bit of car repair!!! (Thank Goodness for Glenn being Mr Handy)

So all in all i would say to any model reading this work with Glenn. To any photographer I will definately be doing more. So watch this space.

First Blog!

Hello all,

This is my first blog. And what an exciting week ahead. Tomorrow I have a shoot with the lovely Glenn of Upper Mills and am VERY excited.
